Since February 12, 2022, the rules have changed concerning the entry of foreigners to France.
For travelers who have been vaccinated according to European regulations, a test is no longer required at departure. Proof of the complete vaccination scheme recognized by the European Medicines Agency (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson) is sufficient, regardless of the country of origin.
For unvaccinated travelers, the obligation to present to the transport company and to the border control authorities a negative PCR test less than 72 hours old or an antigenic test less than 48 hours old before departure (departure of the first flight in the case of a connection), or a certificate of recovery (positive result of a PCR or antigenic test performed more than 11 days and less than 6 months before) remains. This certificate is only valid for six months from the date of the examination or test. On the other hand, the measures previously provided for on arrival (test and isolation) as well as the obligation to present a compelling reason justifying the need to come to mainland France are lifted when they come from countries on the "green" list. The CCI France Azerbaijan reminds that Azerbaijan is classified in this list, due to its low circulation of the virus and the absence of any variant of concern.
It should be noted that children under 12 years of age are exempt from these formalities.
Finally, given the health situation in the overseas departments and territories, these rules may vary: travelers are therefore advised to consult the websites of the prefectures and high police stations concerned.
